A source within the Los Angeles Stars front office indicated this morning that the much anticipated trade involving Serhat Karpat was ready to be finalized when a late breaking complication threatened to kill the deal. The source was not willing to divulge the exact nature of the complication, but we are checking with every contact we at the WBA Times have in an effort to keep you, our readers, up to speed with the latest information.
If and when further information becomes available we will update this story.

UPDATE
The trade has been finalized and Mumbai is the destination. After the trade finalization, the source was willing to share that the complication was the recently completed deal between Mumbai and Carolina. Apparently the two prospects sent from the Cobras in that deal were part of the offer for Karpat. Mumbai was able to salvage the deal, apparently by offering high value draft picks in their place. A full writeup on the deal will follow later.
