2103 Season Thread
« on: February 21, 2016, 08:39:55 PM »
This is the thread for all discussion for the 2103 season, our league's fourth. This first post will be updated throughout the season and will also include links to other threads or amendment votes that come up during this time.

Sim through 10/27/2103 is complete.  Next sim is on hold.  Financials have been updated in the league file, but we will transition to OOTP 17 before the next sim.  See thread in the forum.

North American Division is beating up on the Latin American Division in the early going in the ABL.  All 5 teams in the Latin American are under 0.500 so far, all 5 teams in North America are above 0.500 by at least two games.

Not sure I've ever seen the AI bat a pitcher 5th, no matter how mangled my preset lineup might have been

Lol.  Well he did perform better than everyone below him in the lineup.

Wow.  Does he have good hitting ratings or is the AI just that terrible.  Either way, like Echo said you lucked out.

But only if you type their names in English.  Thanks.

McFadden lasted 2 days in Paris before he tore his back and is out for the season!

Saw that.  Feels good and terrible at the same time.

Ha, karma strikes.  I just traded away all my decent starting pitching and then this sim I lost a decent performer for 10-11 months.

Hey, I'm gonna take you up on the earlier offer to remove ML contracts from players that ended up getting one in the Spring Training debacle.  I had two starting pitchers get hurt last sim, and one of the players I wanted to call up wasn't on the 40-man and didn't have room. I'll make do this week, but if you could kick these 4 guys off of the 40-man I'd appreciate it:

CF Juan Garcia
SP Joe Cox
LF Dave Chaulk
C Timao Argolo

And If you want to get rid of RF Tessfalfe Dibia's contract for me, too, I wouldn't complain. Computer signed him to an idiotic contract just before I took over.  I keep putting him on waivers, but no one is biting  ;)

The Moscow Lancers have been bought out and will be relocating to Edinburgh in Scotland. They will be known forthwith as the Scottish Claymores.

Uni's and logo will follow tomorrow hopefully
