Santo Domingo
by Odin LocksWe're back with an update on the wild situation taking place in the
Los Angeles Stars front office where management is trying to pick the best possible trade deal for
Serhat Karpat. Over the course of the last week the GM in LA was forced to admit publicly that they are fielding offers for the superstar staff ace.
Sources inside Stars headquarters indicate that the team has received multiple inquiries into Karpat, as most people predicted. While details on these offers weren't disclosed, it is thought that interest is pouring in from both the ABL and the IBL.
With that in mind it should be noted that things appear to be lining up for a likely return to the IBL for Karpat. Sources close to the player told us that he would prefer to return to the league where he spent his first 9 professional seasons. And obviously the Stars might find it easier to stomach sending Karpat abroad rather than facing him in future ABL seasons. Nothing is guaranteed as the pursuing teams work to put together their best possible offer, so we will update you as news unfolds. All involved anticipate that Karpat will likely be traded before the calendar turns to 2110.
