Cairo - Melbourne
« on: December 03, 2020, 03:39:02 PM »
Cairo sends: SP Banjo Riggins (AAA) and 2128 3rd

Melbourne sends: 1B Gunadhara Upanishad

I'm sad to part with Banjo. I love his name. I love his pedigree. I hate the fact that every 1st Round pitcher I draft ends up being super risky. Miyata is looking like a dog. Ewart has come good for Tokyo. Bruce Mason is finding his way with Edmonton. Hopefully Banjo will kickstart his development for Bob and have a lengthy career.

"Hopefully Banjo will kickstart his development for Bob and have a lengthy career." Can't help but agree here!

Confirmed. Very happy to welcome the best name in the IBL to Australia. Gonna miss Upanishad, and will regret this trade every time he hits a home run against me, but it had to be done.
