2106 Contract Violation Notices
« on: January 10, 2017, 05:41:53 PM »
London Monarchs - Byung-sik Lim - Insufficient Team Option Buyout

Contract was adjusted to include the required 25% buyout.

Paris Fleur-de-Lis - Irving Butler - Insufficient Team Option Buyout

Contract was adjusted to include the required 25% buyout.

Paris Fleur-de-Lis - Cisco Argente - Extension Excessive Annual Increase

Annual salaries were adjusted to stay within the required 10% annual increase but maintain the same overall contract value.

Paris Fleur-de-Lis - Carlos Martin - Excessive Annual Increase

This one was not caught in time and the current salary has already been partially applied during the season. Annual salaries were $655K for 2106 and $775K for 2107. As commissioner I am editing the second year's salary to equal the difference between the current year's salary and what it would have been if the contract were legal. This will amount to an extra $25,952 in salary for the 2107 season as a "penalty" amount against Paris. That means that Martin's contract will still appear on this report through the 2107 season but his contract violation has been handled.

Sao Paulo Toucans - Nuruddin Bilali - Insufficient Team Option Buyout

Contract was adjusted to include the required 25% buyout.

Sao Paulo Toucans - Kamal Sobha - Insufficient Team Option Buyout

Contract was adjusted to include the required 25% buyout.

Washington Senators - Pedro Garcia - Insufficient Team Option Buyout

Contract was adjusted to include the required 25% buyout.

You did, it was just a little too low. Perhaps you made a contract offer including the 25%, then he negotiated with you and increased the option year salary without increasing the buyout. That happened to me once and I missed it.
