http://www.worldbaseballassociation.com/forum/index.php?page=contractsThis morning's check:
Seung-kab Park's contract was adjusted by increasing the buyouts to the 25% mark and increasing the year 4 salary in order to keep the decrease to 10%.
Wilbur Allen had a 25% buyout added to his last season.
Luo-Lang Wang's contract was a tricky situation. Karachi clearly attempted to stay within the rules as the 3 normal years are based on 10% increases (I think via me and a previous correction, but the bottom line is they are still balanced appropriately) and the buyouts are all 25%. However the first team option year salary is well over a 10% increase from the third base year.
Current Contract -
2107 - $4,078,551
2108 - $4,486,405
2109 - $4,935,044
2110 - $6,000,000 team option with $1,500,000 buyout
2111 - $6,000,000 team option with $1,500,000 buyout
There are two options here, Karachi, please select one. The first is to balance the salaries and end up with this:
2107 - $4,176,837
2108 - $4,594,520
2109 - $5,053,971
2110 - $5,559,368 team option with $1,389,842 buyout
2111 - $6,115,304 team option with $1,528,826 buyout
The other option is to immediately void the 2110 and 2111 seasons and pay the $1.5M buyout (by having cash deducted).
Pedro Camacho's extension was rebalanced to have no more than 10% increases.
Zhi-jun Lung had a 25% buyout added to his last season.
Carlos Martin's contract situation was already handled as stated
on this thread.
