Some early quirks that I could use some help on
« on: May 01, 2015, 07:32:29 AM »
1) Roster / lineup changes that I included in my exports for the two spring Training sims didn't take.  My original export was sucessful in establishing lineups, but subsequent changes have not taken.  No error messages or warnings on export.  Is there a set of specific steps that I need to take to ensure that all my changes are in fact saved in my export file?

2) Am able to access only 3 or 4 box scores from my Front Office / Schedule page.  All other games get an error message:  "File not found;  Theis report is not available;  Check the Auto-Save Box Score / Game Log Options in the Game Setup area to see if your settings are preventing this report from being generated."  But the Game/Game Settings menu option is unavailable / greyed out for me.  Any secret here?  All other reports that I've accessed so far seem are working correctly...

BTW, I'm also seeing the blank news items that APMP reported in chat.

This happened to Bogota as well.  I'm not sure what the cause is at all as his exports before worked just like you say.  We tested his export for tonight's sim already and it worked.  I am wondering if it's a Spring Training issue in the game.

Both of these options are due to the number of days worth of box scores/game logs/messages that I have in the settings to include in the league file upload.  This is kept at 7 days to minimize the league file size.  I should have changed it to match the number of days in the Spring Training sims but forgot to do that.  Shouldn't be an issue starting with tonight as all regular season sims are 7 days (after tonight's 6 day sim to get to the next Monday).

same thing happened to me on both of my spring training exports.  None of my moves went through.  I usually export several times, just to make sure that I get one in.  I wonder if its just taking the first export.

They only exported once I believe.  Seems like it's something with Spring Training.  Haven't had time to look into it further, though.
