Wow. 19 game disparity between OOTP and Huck's predictions for São Paulo. I like Huck's better.

Also odd that OOTP doesn't see either of Vargas or Zamorov as top-10 hitters.

OOTP runs three season sims for predictions. I'm assuming that one or both of them got hurt for the season early in (at least) one of those sims. It also uses current lineups and pitching staffs, so that could be affecting other teams, although for you it looks like those guys were in your lineups when it ran the prediction based on your HTML report team page.

Also note the absurd innings pitched totals on the pitcher predictions. The OOTP predictions ran before I made the annual auto-calc adjustment to the stats settings.

OOTP predicts 84-72 for Puerto Rico. Huckleberry 3000 predicts 72-84. Very interesting.

Hmm. Only 1 100-win team? I think more. Huckleberry Predictor 300 not up to scratch... and ofc I'm gonna be better than Mumbai but that's another issue.

The IBL is so stacked that it might be tough for even a tremendous team to win 100 games ... because they're playing against several other tremendous teams.

Bogus prediction on the Whiskey Jacks!  SI predicted Kansas City to come in last in their division in 2015.  One World Series ring later, one wonders the value of predictions.
