2102 Season Thread
«
on:
November 20, 2015, 09:32:29 PM »
This is the thread for all discussion for the 2102 season, our league's third. This first post will be updated throughout the season and will also include links to other threads or amendment votes that come up during this time.
Sim through 10/30/2102 is complete.
We are now in the offseason.
We will be taking roughly a week while I (we - please get the word out) recruit new owners. I also need to set the finances before we make FA offers; for that reason the first offseason sim will be a one day sim after I input those numbers and I will not make any offers nor will I import any team files.

So how do I get my prospects back? Something went wrong and they all got released even though I'd demoted them manually in my Nov. 20th export.

PM me a list and I'll look at it. If their history says they were yours I will try to put them back on your team. Just let me know who to release instead.

Okay, those four were put back in your organization. The AI org management should never be that atrocious, that's just stupid. But that's a fair warning to everyone to make sure to set your rosters. There were several teams that had way too much roster management for me to try to do (15+ players too many in their org, for example) so I hit the AI button. Sucks that the export didn't work for you and that's why I did this. If anyone else has some major prospects that got dropped let me know.

Has anyone else had a free agent signing decline on this level? Or a young player tank this much?

Damn that sucks. I've had worse in a historical online league but not fictional.

So is the next sim just for a day? Hard to set playoff lineups/rotation without matchups/dates finalized.

Running a single day sim now...didn't realize the playoff schedule wasn't posted (I ran the last sim in a hurry).
Only the league file will be updated, not the HTML reports or utilities. So please "Download Latest League File" from within the game and you should have the playoff schedule.

For some reason this seems to happen in online leagues when season stages change sometimes. Unfortunately you'll probably have to delete everything and reinstall the league based on this thread:
http://www.worldbaseballassociation.com/forum/index.php?topic=4.0
You shouldn't need to do step 4 since you've been in the league awhile. Here's a screenshot of your roster to show you that they're still actually in there:

Don't forget to "Download latest league file" after you reinstall.
