Manila has the best record in the WBA and has somehow lost series to Shanghai, Melbourne, and Mumbai this year.

Mumbai has three series wins. Manila and Melbourne twice.

Just shows how fierce the Asian division is

Minor league end-of-regular season standings:

AMERICAS BASEBALL LEAGUE

ABL-AAA:

Fresno is the #1 seed and Rio, who swept all Latin American minor league division titles, is the #2 seed. Santiago and La Plata should have a playoff game tonight for the last spot and a series against Fresno.

ABL-AA:

Porto Alegre will face off against Tacoma while Puebla will take on the #1 seed Belem Jaguars.

ABL-A:

A playoff game for the North American title will determine the division but the loser will be a wild card team.

ABL-R:

Finally, the one we've all been waiting for. Sao Luis held off a challenge from La Romana but the Palmchat organization has responded to Rio's roster moves, and things point toward a showdown in the upcoming ABL-R finals. Huntsville and Campinas look to spoil the party in the first round.

INTERNATIONAL BASEBALL LEAGUE

IBL-AAA:

Florence is the top seed after edging out Bremen. Faisalabad and Cebu will play a tiebreaker game, winner takes the division and loser is the second wild card team.

IBL-AA:

Milan pulled off the division win over the powerhouse dynasty Bochum Foxes. Now they look to finish things in the playoffs.

IBL-A:

While most are looking for a much-anticipated Bielefeld-Multan clash in the IBL-A finals, the two wild card teams are very strong in their own right so having at least onee "upset" could almost be expected.

IBL-R:

Bonn's record means that the Black Forest organization had the only two 100-game winning minor league teams in the WBA this year. Once again, though, Rome's team at this level is also strong and looks to take the crown in the postseason.

Minor League Playoff Updates

ABL-AAA: Fresno Stars (Los Angeles) lead Curitiba Toucans (São Paulo) 2 games to 1
ABL-AA: Porto Alegre Toucans (São Paulo) win the championship 3 games to 0 over Puebla Aztecs (Mexico City)
ABL-A: Guarulhos Jaguars (Rio de Janeiro) lead Goainia Toucans (São Paulo) 2 games to 1
ABL-R: La Romana Toros (Santo Domingo) win the championship 3 games to 1 over Campinas Toucans (São Paulo)

Note that Rio's organization won their division at every level while São Paulo's organization reached the finals at every level. Two very impressive accomplishments.

IBL-AAA: Cebu Cybermen (Manila) win the championship 3 games to 1 over Faisalabad Hawks (Karachi)
IBL-AA: Milan Marauders (Rome) win the championship 3 games to 1 over Bochum Foxes (Black Forest)
IBL-A: Amdavad Vipers (Mumbai) win the championship 3 games to 1 over Venice Legionnaires (Rome)
IBL-R: Bonn Foxes (Black Forest) win the championship 3 games to 1 over Naples Naturals (Rome)

Looks like all but my AA team cratered in the playoffs.  But at least Bochum lost

Three made the finals, that's pretty good. The minor league playoffs are only best-of-5 so it's even more likely the best team gets upset.
