The Rome Generals and Mumbai Cobras brought some excitement to Generals Ballpark.

Felipe Martinez made an impact in the 12-3 Mumbai win over Rome. Martinez, who is tied for 4th in the FSSL in triples with 4, was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Mumbai, now 11-7, has played well in the early going.

Mumbai used the timely hitting of Frank Ortega to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Cobras on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Rome Generals. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
