|
Puerto Rico Coqui starter Miguel Aguilera turned in an exceptional performance against the Karachi Falcons at Falcons Ballpark, resulting in a Puerto Rico win, 2-1. Manuele Zerman finished the game for Puerto Rico and earned his 4th save. The win elevated the Coqui to 18-15.
Elias Corriga was a prime contributor to the Puerto Rico win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the top of the seventh with two out, the former first round draft pick hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-1, in favor of the Coqui.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Puerto Rico manager Puerto Rico Coqui said.
