Kang Homers Twice in 5-2 Groove Win
The China Groove defeated the Rome Generals, 5-2, at Shanghai Ball Park today. Leading the charge for China was catcher Hyeon-san Kang. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Wen-zhong Chen was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 21 save opportunities. The Groove bumped their record to 41-41 with this latest triumph.

In the first inning, Kang had a 2-run home run for China. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Groove on top, 2-0.

"I had some good swings out there," said Kang.
