Loss to Generals Extends Mexico City Losing Streak
Mexico City second baseman Jerry Gamboa had a good game, even if his team did not. The Aztecs dropped a 7-6 decision to Rome at Ballpark of Mexico City. Gamboa went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, the Generals have a record of 34-27.

The Generals got an important contribution from right fielder Leon Cecenas, who in the top of the fifth hit a first pitch sinker into right-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Generals ahead, 7-1.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Cecenas.
