Palmchats Sneak Past Aztecs, 4-3

The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.
Mexico City got a terrific performance from pitcher Juan Domínguez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Santo Domingo Palmchats. Santo Domingo won the Estadio Santo Domingo contest, 4-3. Domínguez threw 8 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Santo Domingo reliever Wei-sng Ling was credited with the win, to go to 6-2. John Benson took the loss for Mexico City.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Santo Domingo center fielder Stu Jensen, facing John Benson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Palmchats the 4-3 win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Mexico City manager Square Drive.
With the win, the Palmchats have a record of 61-36.
