The 7-5 Mexico City win over Santo Domingo was due in large part to Eetu Harju. The Aztecs right fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. With the win, Mexico City upped its record to 56-55.

In the top of the seventh inning, Mexico City got a break when Harju went to the plate. With two outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Aztecs leading 4-3, Harju hit a 2-run double.

Harju told a Mexico City Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
