Puerto Rico Grounds was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

The Puerto Rico Coqui topped the Manila Folders, 1-0, in Fast Sim Side League action at Puerto Rico Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Puerto Rico pitcher and Torre-Pacheco, Spain, native Juan Bautista. Bautista went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 1. His record improves to 8-6. Manuele Zerman earned his 15th save in 21 chances.

Tai sun Tsui gave Puerto Rico a good at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple to help send Puerto Rico to the win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Tsui. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Puerto Rico raised its record to 61-52 with the win.
