Bite Garcia Chosen August's Best in FAAA Friday, September 1st, 1939 Oscar Garcia was a long shot to make the Adelaide Bite this year, especially being a 31-year-old rookie. Now the Adelaide hurler has parlayed a 4-0 record into the FSSL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award. In August, he chalked up 12 strikeouts in 34.2 innings and compiled a 1.04 ERA. On his lifetime ledger sheet, the 31-year-old Garcia has won 52 and lost 36 with a 3.69 ERA. |
