FAA Top Batter Trophy Won by Flores Thursday, June 1st, 1939 Lorenzo Flores has a lot going for him. The Tucuman center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the FSSL Double A has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 27 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .351 with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Posting a .321 batting average to date, Flores has 6 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
