FR Player of the Week Named Monday, August 1st, 1938 Velimir Boskovic burst onto the FSSL Rookie League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Nice garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .455 (10-for-22) with no home runs and 5 RBIs last week. So far this season Boskovic is batting .327 with no home runs, 13 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 101 at-bats, 12 walks and a .395 OBP. Boskovic has played in 27 games. |
