Sao Luis Right Fielder Picked FR Player of the Week Monday, June 26th, 1939 Tony Ramirez is respected by most Sao Luis Jaguars fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the FSSL Rookie League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .440 average (11-for-25) with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Ramirez has hit at a .258 clip with 38 RBIs, 5 home runs and 42 runs scored. |
