Seals Arias Named FR's Best Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 1939 Armando Arias has made fans throughout FSSL Rookie League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the FSSL Rookie League threw better in August, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 4 starts Arias compiled a 2.22 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 29 and tossing 28.1 innings. Arias has gone 23-27 with an ERA of 3.52 in his career, piling up 390 strikeouts in 494 innings pitched. |
