Blue Gills Lose By a Run at El Paso
El Paso right fielder Kyle Middleton made his presence felt in the 7-6 Thunderbirds triumph over the Detroit Blue Gills. Middleton went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times. The winning pitcher was Preki Cvetkovic. He's now 2-2. He went 7 innings, allowing 6 runs on 12 hits for the Thunderbirds. Harvey Yeandle closed it out for his 2nd save.
