Havana beat Detroit in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Havana left fielder Junji Yoshino contributed significantly to his team's 5-3 win over the Detroit Blue Gills. Yoshino, who is tied for 2nd in the ABL in triples with 2, went 4 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Dolphins. Tony Gutiérrez got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 6. Earning his 1st save for Havana was Pedro Espinosa.

Abdul-Sabur Abdul-Mu'izz chipped in a 3-run home run for Havana in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Yoshino. "You've got to get results."

The Dolphins, now 5-11, have not found much traction so far in 2148.
