The performance of Ndungu Njoka proved critical in helping Puerto Rico beat Detroit, 10-8. The Coqui second baseman was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. "I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Njoka told the Puerto Rico Herald.
