Sulaiman Slugs Emperors to 10-4 Win
Behind a fine performance from Haroun Sulaiman, the Beijing Emperors knocked off the Karachi Falcons, 10-4. Sulaiman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Emperors. Beijing starter Yoshifusa Hasegawa was credited with the win after throwing 81 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-1. The Emperors, now 20-10, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Njoroge Sarahani had a big 2-run home run for the Emperors in the top of the fifth inning. With Beijing leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from Oisín Raven, who finished 5th in the ABL in strikeouts with 175 in 2142, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Emperors on top, 3-0.
