Falcons Absorb 5-2 Home Loss
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the slugging first baseman Joris Steinem, the Oslo Voyageurs stopped the Karachi Falcons, 5-2. Oslo pitcher Carlos Rúbio earned the win, hiking his record to 3-2. Husien Karamera suffered the loss. Oslo is off to a hot start at 20-10.
Steinem had a timely hit for Oslo in the top of the sixth. With Oslo trailing 2-1, he turned a 2-2 slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 4-2, Oslo.
Oslo manager Marq Ualler called it "a darn good win."
