The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

The Detroit Blue Gills powered past the Los Angeles Stars, 13-11, at Tokyo Ballpark. Jesús Aguilera provided some of the pop. He was 4 for 5 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4. Detroit pitcher Ragnar Arnfeldt got the win. He's now 3-2. Sebastian Sporsheim was tagged with the loss.

Detroit got a knockout punch from Kyung-bae Choi. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Aguilera told reporters after the game.
