Trung Slams Milestone Homer
The El Paso Thunderbirds had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 5-4 decision to Sao Paulo. The reason -- the splendid slugger Thao Trung hit his 400th career homer in today's contest at Toucans Ballpark.

"I'm fortunate to be here," Trung told the media after the game. "The Thunderbirds have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #400 was for them."

His career numbers show Trung has batted .307 and collected 1618 hits, 400 home runs and 1070 RBIs.
