Meteors Squelch Black Rhinos Offense in Shutout Win
The Melbourne Meteors picked up a win at Meteor Crater, courtesy of Quinton Ayala. The left-hander helped his team stop the Nairobi Black Rhinos, 3-0. With the win, Melbourne goes to 39-51, while the Black Rhinos fall to 41-49.

Melbourne took a 2-0 lead on Wattas Mwenda's 24th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Mwenda hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Nairobi pitcher Paul Henry visibly frustrated.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Mwenda.
