Stars Topple Thunderbirds with Late Rally
Los Angeles Stars starter Yoo-ngan Xing was dealing. He helped his team knock off the El Paso Thunderbirds, 4-1. The Stars now have a record of 41-50 with the win over El Paso.

Los Angeles took the lead, 4-1, on Velimir Aleksic's 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off El Paso pitcher Chong-yee Ming in the bottom of the eighth.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Xing said after the game.
