Melbourne pitcher Husien Karamera had a large part in his team beating the Daegu Monks, 3-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Ismael Mata wrapped it up, recording his 7th save. Melbourne goes to 50-42, Daegu to 50-42.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Meteors had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when third baseman Pavla Elovsky hit a 2-run single. The single came off Jack Darroch and made the score 3-0, Meteors. Elovsky was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.
