The El Paso Thunderbirds downed the Sao Paulo Toucans, 11-6, at Toucans Ballpark. The Thunderbirds were led by Geunhye Pang. Pang went 2 for 5 with a triple and a double, while adding 4 RBI. Puhi Elikai picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Miguel Salazar suffered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for El Paso.

El Paso used the clutch hitting of Cheng-ho Tieh to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Thunderbirds the lead, 8-6. For the game, Tieh had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Thunderbirds manager AP MP, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
