|
Getting an impressive start from Jamal Kirinyaga, Tokyo beat Rome by the score of 3-2. Alastair Bacon earned his 21st save, after closing out the game. Tokyo now owns a record of 40-54.
Tokyo used the hitting of Arun Virinchi to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Fitzies on top, 2-0. For the game, Virinchi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
