Fitzies Foil Voyageurs, 3-1
|
Tokyo Fitzies starter Anuhlada Phadkar hurled his team past the Oslo Voyageurs, 3-1. Pin-zhen Han earned the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. The last-place Fitzies sport a record of 44-50.
Pengel Loewe drew 1 walk for Tokyo. The slugging left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Gilg Koch. It was his 15th walk of the season.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Oslo manager Marq Ualler. "Obviously."
