Aztecs Take 10-1 Pounding
Sao Paulo Toucans starter Meany Pyne had all his pitches working at Toucans Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 10-1 Sao Paulo win over the Mexico City Aztecs. Pyne yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-0. The 'W' lifts Sao Paulo's record to 19-18.

Abraha Saqr had a big 2-run double for the Toucans in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Sao Paulo leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Sugiarto Adjeng and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toucans ahead, 5-1.

"It was full throttle on our side," said Pyne.
