Toucans Rally Late to Clip Chicago
In a high-scoring game between Sao Paulo and Chicago, catcher Rubén Ramos was a difference-maker. The 24-year-old helped Sao Paulo grab the 9-8 win. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning his 15th save of the year was Xing-hua Hua. With the win, Sao Paulo upped its record to 53-44.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Ramos delivered big-time for Sao Paulo, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Orlando Saucedo. The game-changing hit put the Toucans on top, 8-7.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Sao Paulo manager Casey Blake DeWitt.
