The Santo Domingo Palmchats, behind a great outing from Mahon Taberner, who is tied for 6th in the ABL with a 4.6 K/9 rate, defeated the Detroit Blue Gills, 2-0, at Estadio Santo Domingo. The win for the Palmchats lifted their record to 55-43.

Taberner, the Santo Domingo left-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. He collected 7 strikeouts.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Taberner.
