Foxes Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Karachi
The Black Forest Foxes picked up a win at The Den, taking down the Karachi Falcons, 7-5. Starting pitcher Mariano Ochoa was a big reason why. Ochoa got the win, improving to 10-7. He gave up 8 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 5 runs. Bill Horne earned save number 15.

Darge Ibada had a big 2-run double for the Foxes in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Black Forest trailing 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from 35-year old right-handed pitcher Folco Maini and swatted a double to left. It was his 26th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Foxes ahead, 5-4.

"Mariano just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Black Forest manager DP Woodford.

The Foxes raised their record to 36-62.
