Meteors Get Thrilling 2-1 Win
|
The Melbourne Meteors picked up a win at Meteor Crater, dropping the Rome Generals, 2-1, in 10 innings. Husien Karamera, who is tied for 4th in the IBL with a 2.95 ERA, was the difference-maker. The 'W' lifts Melbourne's record to 59-43.
The Meteors got a clutch hit from pinch hitter José Hernández. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Meteors.
"We did just enough to win," Hernández said.
