Thunderbirds Get Extra-Inning, 4-3 Win
The game between El Paso and Santo Domingo is in the books, despite a little rain.

The El Paso Thunderbirds had to overcome a big game from Santo Domingo first baseman Yi-lin Han to leave Estadio Santo Domingo with a victory. And they did, winning, 4-3, in 10 innings. Han was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The second-place Palmchats have lost 5 straight games.

El Paso needed the clutch hitting of Cheng-ho Tieh to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Thunderbirds on top, 4-3. For the game, Tieh had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant AP MP, the El Paso skipper.
