Emperors Suffer 7-2 Setback
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Karachi Falcons and Beijing Emperors.

Behind a fine performance from Kieran Morrison, the Karachi Falcons knocked off the Beijing Emperors, 7-2. Morrison was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Falcons. Gia-Long Hoang was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.

The Falcons got a big at-bat from right fielder José Villa. For the game, Villa was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Karachi a 4-2 lead.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Villa.

The first-place Falcons, at 62-44, now lead their division by 2 games.
