Win Goes to Emperors in Tight Contest
The Beijing Emperors outlasted Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris and the Karachi Falcons, 9-7. bin Idris was impressive in the loss. The Karachi left fielder went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win puts Beijing at 63-44 this season.

Rodrige Siqueira came through with a big-time hit for Beijing. The second baseman smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 9-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We got the victory," said Siqueira. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
