Stars Suffer One-Run Loss at Mexico City
The Mexico City Aztecs beat the Los Angeles Stars, 2-1, at Ballpark of Mexico City. Starting pitcher Daniel Jahnet was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. After today's action, Mexico City sits at 55-53, while Los Angeles falls to 55-53.

Mexico City took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Enrique Gallegos hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Aztecs.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Los Angeles manager Andy Hustle. "The effort was great."
