The Nairobi Black Rhinos could not turn a fine performance from second baseman Riemer van der Laan into a win. Instead, the Paris Fleur-de-Lis prevailed, 6-4. van der Laan went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Umer Ufanisi earned his 5th save, after closing out the game. The Fleur-de-Lis go to 47-64, putting them 4th in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division.

The Fleur-de-Lis got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Boris Komrskov. For the game, Komrskov was 1 for 1 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Paris a 5-4 lead.

Komrskov attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
