Yoo-ngan Xing, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in strikeouts with 49, never let the Thunderbirds get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Stars to a win, 2-0. El Paso has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Xing earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Los Angeles. The native of Shanghai, China, allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 7. El Paso hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Xing said.
