Dolphins Best Aztecs, 6-3

Havana picked up a win at El Estadio Latinoamericano, bumping off the Mexico City Aztecs, 6-3. Pitcher Alonso Soto was a major reason the Dolphins emerged victorious. Soto, now 6-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. At 58-61, the Dolphins are currently 4th in the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division.
António González had a big bases-clearing double for the Dolphins in the bottom of the second inning. With Havana leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Garza and swatted a double to center. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dolphins ahead, 4-0.
"It's better to burn out than to rust," said the ageless Soto.
