Emperors Take Down Fitzies, 8-7
The Beijing Emperors used the hitting of first baseman She Feng to subdue the Tokyo Fitzies, 8-7, in 15 innings. For the game, Feng went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The last-place Fitzies dropped to 53-66.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 15th for Beijing. That's when Njoroge Sarahani hit a solo home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Johan Combes to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Feng said.
