Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris led the charge as the Karachi Falcons defeated the Melbourne Meteors, 6-5, in 11 innings at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium. bin Idris, who is a two-time All-Star, was 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Adrian Dean snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-1 on the season. Abracham Layar suffered the loss. With this game in the books, Karachi is 54-66, Melbourne 69-51.

The decisive blow was delivered by Harun Firdausi in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off two-time All-Star Abracham Layar to win the game for Karachi. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was terrific getting this win," Firdausi said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
