The Karachi Falcons beat the Tokyo Fitzies, 10-5, at Gitche Gumee Stadium. Karachi first baseman Mike McMillan banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. Gia-Long Hoang, who is tied for 2nd in the IBL in wins with 17, was the winner. He's now 17-2. The loser was Guo-feng Lee. The slumping Fitzies have dropped 8 in a row.

With Karachi leading 2-0 in the top of the sixth, McMillan hit a 2-run single off Tokyo hurler Guo-feng Lee. It was the 24th hit of the season for McMillan and put his team ahead, 4-0.

Tokyo manager Pedro Cerrano, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."
