Gualter Bonito had a good game, but he could not keep the Melbourne Meteors from falling, 7-6, to the Karachi Falcons at Meteor Crater. The Melbourne right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The win went to Gabir Ansari in relief, making him now 1-0. Ismael Mata took the loss for Melbourne. The save went to Bennie Terry, number 1 for him.

Karachi used the timely hitting of Mike McMillan to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Falcons on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Karachi manager Slu Baseball.

The win gives Karachi a season record of 22-17.
